Fantasy Football

So here we are in September, saying goodbye to a hot summer and welcoming Fall, I am not sure about anyone else but I am just not ready for it yet. But September also means start of the football season and sport fanatics like myself can’t be any happier. For the first time this year I decided to join a Fantasy Football League and loving every minute of it.

As for the people who don’t know what Fantasy Football is, it’s a league that you create as a group with your friends either on yahoo.com or espn.com with an entrance fee, which is awarded to the winner and a runner up at the end of the season. Each person in your league creates a team of NFL players in different positions through a draft and each week, for 17 weeks, you compete against a different person from your league. Each player in your team incurs points, positive or negative, based on their performance in their respective games and at the end of each week, when all the NFL games have concluded, person with most points in each match up is the winner of that week. Week 16 is the playoff week where the top 4 teams, teams with most wins in the regular season, compete against each other to move on to the finals in week 17 where the winner of the league emerges.
